For the Premix: Mix all the spirits and syrup in a big jug, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then strain preferably using a fine cloth, making it perfectly clear.
To serve: Add 85ml of the batch mix into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and agitate carefully for about 60 seconds to chill. Pour into an chilled martini glass or equivalent, garnish with a few cranberries and finish using a light spray with the mandarin essence over the top.
